Allen Williams is the Director of Basketball Warehouse, a charitable organization currently under consideration for 501(c) (3) status, that helps children make positive changes in academic studies, athletics, and self-esteem. Allen is responsible for coordinating all basketball activities and creating the curriculum for Basketball Warehouse. Allen’s passion is to teach values through basketball and academic mentoring: discipline, perseverance, respect, and teamwork. The absence of such an influence, in Allen’s own childhood, has driven him to create an atmosphere that will nurture and encourage the success of all children.
Allen Williams is a well known name in the Tampa Bay area, which was a star at Clearwater HS in the late 80s and went on to help North Alabama win a National Championship in 1991. In the last several years Allen has coached a variety of AAU Travel teams and is currently coaching at Shorecrest Prep School in St. Petersburg.
The goal of Basketball Warehouse is to revolutionize the current models for after-care programs. By mixing exercise through advanced state-of-the-art basketball training techniques and educational tutoring provided by mentors for children from diverse backgrounds. We endeavor to make sports and learning fun and to encourage hard work, discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition.
We provide tailored training programs that center around basketball to satisfy each student/athlete’s individual needs in a positive, encouraging environment. Our goal is to develop basketball players but also well round individuals: physically, mentally, and spiritually. Basketball Warehouse participants will have more energy, less stress, better focus, improved strength, and a stronger sense of self. We strive to help our children reach their academic and life potential through sports.
